Information We Collect
Information you submit to us through interaction with our Web site or other methods. This information is used to fulfill your orders, respond to requests for information, and other communications with you.
Automatic information submitted through your browser when you visit our Web site. Authors: We work closely with our published authors. Contact and interaction with other researchers of common interests is a generally accepted premise in the genealogical community. We sometimes provide authors with names and contact information related to customers who have purchased their publications.
Agents: We may utilize other companies or individuals to perform certain functions on our behalf, such as fulfilling orders, delivering packages and processing credit card payments. Agents have access to customer information on a need-to-know basis, and may not use it for unauthorized purposes.
Protection: We release customer information only when we believe release is appropriate to comply with law or protect the rights, property, or safety of ourselves or others. This may include exchanging information with other companies and organizations for purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.
Your Consent: Other than as set out above, you will receive notice when information about you might go to third parties, and you will have an opportunity to choose not to share the information.
The security of your sensitive information (including credit card data) is protected during transmissions by state of the art Secure Socket Layer (SSL) software encryption technology. Most browsers support 64 bit encryption technology. If your browser supports 128 bit encryption, we recommend you activate it for maximum security.
We transmit only a portion of your credit card number when communicating by e-mail. The entire credit card number is transmitted (again by SSL) to the appropriate credit card processor during order processing.
All credit card information is handled in accordance with current "Visa U.S.A. Cardholder Information Security Standards for Mail Order, Telephone Order, and Internet Merchants".
Your satisfaction is important to us. However, due to the nature of genealogical materials, all sales are final and may not be returned for exchange or refund except as noted below.
Shipping Errors must be reported within 10 days of receipt.
Defective or damaged CD's may be exchanged within 30 days for an identical title.

You must have a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number before returning an item. To receive an RMA number, please complete our Exchange Request form.

Although we make every effort to keep our listings current, many
genealogical publications are issued in short run lots and frequently go
in and out of print. As some publishers do not regularly issue an
out-of-print list, it is sometimes impossible to maintain our listings
with 100% accuracy. We do not guarantee the availability of any
particular item. Prompt refunds will be issued when an item is not
available. Unless otherwise indicated, all items are new and are
reprints of older original editions. Some items may be shipped directly
to you from their distributor.

APPLICABLE LAW

DISPUTES
Any dispute relating in any way to your visit to AncestorStuff.com or to products you purchase through AncestorStuff.com shall be submitted to confidential arbitration in Russellville, Arkansas, except that, to the extent you have in any manner violated or threatened to violate AncestorStuff.com's intellectual property rights, AncestorStuff.com may seek injunctive or other appropriate relief in any state or federal court in the state of Arkansas, and you consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in such courts. Arbitration under this agreement shall be conducted under the rules then prevailing of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitrator's award shall be binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.
