The primary source of information is the Alsace emigration index, a Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints microfilm card file archive. Other sources: never before published military conscription lists, Andreas Ganter’s collection, pass lists, and other private collections. Villages are listed showing their archival connection: archives in Strassburg and Colmar and German villages and towns mainly in Wuerttenberg, Baden, and the Palatinate.
