The family moved to Beaver County, Pennsylvania in 1796. Robert received his A.B. degree in 1823. In 1824 he was licensed to preach the gospel and on November 23, 1825, he was ordained as an evangelist. On December 7, 1825, he began a 2-month missionary tour in Virginia. Rev. Dilworth served several congregations in both Ohio and Pennsylvania before taking over the pastorate of Little Beaver Church in 1836 where he remained for thirty years. This book encompasses his diary and marriage register. Included are extensive vital records such as deaths, marriages, births, baptisms, communions, etc. Surname index.
